Episode 2 – Sam Jacobs

This week I had the pleasure of sitting down with Citrix CTP Sam Jacobs to discuss technology and solutions architecture. I have known Sam for over 15 years from back when Sam worked at IPM as the master Custom Interface customizer for Citrix Web Interface, Citrix NetScaler, and Citrix StoreFront. I owned Techstur.com which also specialized in the same customization technologies.

Techstur.com closed up shop in 2015/2016 and I have been working either as an employee or consultant ever since.

I am very happy with this second episode in both content and length. This episode clocked in at just over 30 minutes and I felt like the conversation flowed throughout the podcast. This episode felt more like a conversation as I stepped out from behind my shell to host and contribute.

I have listened to the episode three times now, twice by myself with my Air Pods Pro 2’s on and once with my wife. I am very happy with the outcome and feel like I was a lot less stiff then then the first Podcast.

Thank you, Sam, for coming on the show and giving some great advice about being a Solutions Architect and also educating aspiring SA’s in the skills they need for the role.

I am very proud and happy with the work done over the course of the last two weeks with the recording of the first two episodes. Both Owen Renolds and Sam Jacobs have made it a success. Owen’s episode has surpassed 190 downloads/views in over 21 countries from all over the world. Which surpassed all my hopes for the plays of the episode.

Next week I will be sitting down with Solutions Architect Richard Faulkner and Ex-Nuclear Engineer who is currently working full-time with Ferroque Systems Inc.
