Blog – Podcast – Episode 2 – Prelude

This Sunday, I will be sitting down with Citrix CTP Sam Jacobs as our next guest on The Solutions Architect Experience Podcast. I have known Sam since way back in the Techstur.com days when I specialized in customization and custom branding of Citrix Web Interface, Citrix NetScaler, and Citrix StoreFront interface products. Sam worked for IPM, which was one of the longest-running Citrix Platinum Partners in the United States and one of the only other companies in the U.S. offering these services.

I am extremely excited for the second episode of the podcast, and I hope to implement some changes that I learned from recording the first episode. I re-listened to the podcast this past Sunday in its entirety, and after giving it some space for a week, I was incredibly happy with the results. Initially, I was hypercritical of myself, worrying about every word I flubbed and the “ums” and “ahs” that I did not cut out. However, the first episode stands on its own. It’s a bit longer than I intended, but I take that as a sign of an enjoyable conversation. I will attempt to cut the time down to about an hour for the next episode.

I was pleasantly surprised by the reach of the first episode. With over 160 downloads and views across five continents and 19 countries, it has exceeded my expectations. Currently, we have downloads in the United States, India, New Zealand, Belgium, France, Bangladesh, Brazil, the Philippines, Norway, Hong Kong, the Netherlands, the Russian Federation, Canada, Germany, Saudi Arabia, Japan, and the United Kingdom. With 106 downloads on RSS, 93 on Blubrry, and 48 streams on YouTube, this has been a success for me.

Now, we move on to the next episode of the podcast, and I can’t wait to see where that takes us next…
